Sea Mar is proud to offer post-secondary scholarship to the children of its employees.
Sea Mar recognizes their parent(s) or legal guardian(s) are the backbone of the services Sea Mar provides to the community, sometimes even using family time to support Sea Mar's efforts.
Scholarship recipients receive a one-time award of $1,000 to be used towards their undergraduate or graduate degrees.
- A person who has a parent or legal guardian who is a current part-time or full-time Sea Mar employee*, and
- Whose parent or legal guardian has been employed at Sea Mar a minimum of one year by the scholarship deadline, and
- Will be enrolling as a full-time student in a higher education institute the upcoming academic year.
- Students are eligible for one Sea Mar Scholarship at the undergraduate level, and one Sea Mar Scholarship at the graduate level.
*Does not include on-call employees or AmeriCorps members
January 1, 2024 and will close April 15, 2024
To apply, applicants must answer essay questions and provide a copy of their transcript on an online application form*.
Other information related to parent(s)' work history will be asked.
