​ ​​​ Rachael has been working for Sea Mar Behavioral Health since February, 2017. As a counselor, Rachael provides diagnostic assessments, referrals for psychiatric services and case management as well treatment and crisis plan completion. She also provides individual therapy for children, adolescents and adults as well as facilitates therapy groups.

Rachael entered the field in order to make a difference in the community and world, one person, one family at a time. Rachael considers it a privilege to be a part of the change process of others. Rachael's therapeutic approaches she utilizes are based on a relationship building model steeped in motivational enhancement, trauma informed care, solution focused and cognitive behavioral therapies. Her style can be described as engaging, creative and person centered.

Rachael has worked in the field for over 14 years. Her work experience ranges from: Homelessness, Domestic Violence, Foster Youth, Disabled Adults/Seniors, Injured Workers, work with Families in crisis as well as work with Depression, Anxiety, other Axis 1 disorders, work with a range of personality disorders and Psychosis based disorders. Rachael received her bachelor's degree from Central Washington University and completed her master's degree with Chapman University. She is currently in the process of testing for her Washington State license for Mental Health Counseling. ​ ​
