Sara Jerome, MSW, LSWAIC, graduated from the Seattle University Master of Social Work program in June 2019. During graduate school, she completed her clinical work at Youth Eastside Services, providing school and agency-based counseling to individuals ages 6 to 16; and also at Childhaven, providing trauma-informed services to children ages 0 to 6 in milieu therapy.

Sara uses a strengths-based, participant-centered approach in therapy. She enjoys offering participants practical skills from evidence-based practices, as well as approaches from expressive modalities including play therapy and art therapy. She believes mental health practice is enhanced by viewing experiences through a social justice, systems-oriented lens.

Prior to her work in the mental health field, Sara had a career as a journalist, covering public policy issues.
