Throughout her training, Annika has traveled to Ecuador and Mexico where she studied nursing, health systems and volunteered at a birthing clinic. She spent many summers translating and assisting with health screenings at migrant farmworker medical clinics. She is interested in addressing health disparities experienced by rural communities. Annika especially enjoys helping patients manage their chronic conditions such as hypertension and diabetes; and she loves promoting women's health.

She is passionate about providing holistic patient-centered healthcare for Spanish speaking and rural communities. Annika looks forward to promoting health, wellness, and disease prevention within Sea Mar and she is committed to a strong patient-provider partnership focused on education and disease prevention.
