Sea Mar accepts most insurances including Medicaid and provides services regardless of a patient’s ability to pay. Sea Mar has staff available to assist patients and clients with insurance enrollment, as applicable.

Welcome!

Welcome to Sea Mar’s Turning Point Substance Use Disorder Treatment Center for Adults. We have been serving the Seattle community and people from throughout Washington state since 2015.

We are state-licensed, non-IMD 16-bed facility located in Seattle’s Central District and accredited by The Joint Commission. We offer a 30-day residential program for stabilization and recovery skill building. We provide intervention treatment for men and women.

We address recovery with general education, group problem solving dynamics, and weekly individual sessions. Along with education on substance use disorders, the program promotes healthy living through stress reduction, mindfulness exercises, relaxation techniques and yoga. We view nicotine as a primary drug of choice that can lead to relapse for other substances, and therefore we maintain a tobacco-free environment. We work in collaboration with medical staff, nutritionists, and health educators to ensure our clients receive a “whole person” intervention while at Turning Point.

Our residents are supported during their stay with skill-building, healthy lifestyle choices, effective communication, and discovery of new hobbies and fun recreational activities. Through our approach, our residents begin to make meaningful changes in their lives.
