Anthony joined the Everett office in July of 2019 after receiving his masters degree in counselor education – clinical mental health counseling from the University of Montana-Missoula. Prior to his work at Sea Mar, Anthony developed a wide range of mental health experience from his roles as case manager, student advocate, crisis stabilization worker, recovery coach, and career counselor.
Anthony believes that each client is unique and that their treatment should reflect their strengths, goals and hopes. He draws upon a variety of counseling approaches including existential therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), solution focused brief therapy (SFBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and narrative therapy. Anthony has received additional training and education in trauma competent care, reiki, burnout and compassion fatigue and mindfulness based meditation.
Anthony loves taking his dog to spend the day in nature or lounging around with his cat, good friends and good food.
