Ashley joined the Sea Mar Everett Behavioral Health clinic in 2022. Before practicing at Sea Mar, Ashley completed her undergraduate work in art therapy at Russell Sage College in Troy, NY. She then earned a dual Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Art Therapy with a certification in Substance Use Counseling at Antioch University in Seattle, Washington.
Ashley has volunteered at several community mental health agencies in upstate New York and the Pacific Northwest. In her experience, she has worked with adult populations seeking treatment for substance use disorder and mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and trauma.
Ashley uses a feminist, client centered and solution-focused therapy approach. She also uses a collaborative approach, working alongside her clients to create and provide the best care for each of them. Ashley has a background in art therapy and enjoys taking a creative approach, as well as using traditional talk therapy.
In her free time, Ashley enjoys reading, kayaking, painting, and taking her dogs hiking.
