​ ​​​​ ​ Becky began practicing mental health therapy at Sea Mar Puyallup Behavioral Health in September 2018. Becky provides individual, couples and family therapy for adults and adolescents. Her treatment modalities consist of cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy and trauma focused interventions.

Becky’s education and pervious therapy practice specializes in motivational interviewing to enhances one’s ability to change through a strength based approach. Becky has worked with the Department of Corrections providing mental health and substance abuse therapy to those being integrated back into society after serving legal sentences. She has experience working with chronically mentally ill individuals in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Her area of knowledge and experience is surrounding trauma, family systems and substance abuse has given her the ability to treat, not only mental health, but substance use disorders as well. She has been in the mental health and substance abuse field for the past five years. She is nationally certified as an Addictions Counselor and continues to enhance her skills by being trauma informed.

Becky believes in recovery and a holistic approach to therapy. She understands the risks it takes to be vulnerable and seek the help in life no matter how great or small the issues are. ​
