Bolu has worked in the mental health field for over four years, and joined Sea Mar’s Behavioral Health Clinic in Lynnwood as a mental health therapist in 2023. Prior to her clinical experience, Bolu worked in a variety of programs for adolescents in the Millcreek Community Hospital, and is ca present volunteer at Behavioral health institute, and Postpartum Support Network Africa. During her volunteering experience, she lead weekly virtual group sessions to assist client’s with an array of presenting mental health concerns. She completed her clinical training for her Masters Applied Clinical Psychology at Pennsylvania State University. During her Masters, Bolu worked at Millcreek Community Hospital for a year, providing individual and group therapy to children, adolescents, young adults, adults, and geriatrics seeking support with a wide range of mental health concerns. Over the course of her clinical work, Bolu has developed a commitment to working therapeutically with trauma and its emotional and psychological consequences. Her therapeutic approach pulls from a person centered approach, and focuses on collaborative work with clients, meeting each of them where they are at and assisting them to the point of recovery. She is interested promoting each individual’s autonomy, safety and symptom management.

Bolu enjoys spending her leisure time being with friends and family, exploring new cuisines and making memories with the people in her circle.
