Julie has been a mental health provider, clinical supervisor and program manager for Sea Mar's Gig Harbor Behavioral Health Clinic since 2017. She has provided individual & group therapy for adults (including geriatrics), adolescents and children since 2006.
Julie utilizes cognitive behavioral therapies, solution focused techniques, client centered services, trauma informed care, and adlerian theory in her treatment of individuals at Sea Mar.

Prior to earning a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology, Julie obtained her Bachelors of Science Degree in Social Justice at Montana State University in Bozeman, MT and her Juris Doctorate at the University of Puget Sound Law School in Tacoma, WA. She practiced law in Pierce County before changing careers to help clients recover from trauma and cope with life changes and serious mental illness. Julie joined Sea Mar after having a private practice and providing mental health services for 7 and half years in adult correctional facilities.
