Liliana Lozano-Garza joined Sea Mar CHC's Seattle Behavioral Health Center in June 2014 as a mental health counselor.
Born and raised in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, Liliana obtained her Bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Monterrey in 2008. During this time, she had the opportunity to develop her professional skills and knowledge while working at a private elementary school; a hospital working with the elderly; a human resources company; and a foundation for children and the elderly where she performed social services.
In 2009, Liliana moved to Seattle to continue her education and earned a Master's degree in counseling psychology from Argosy University. In 2013, Liliana started working with the chronically mentally ill population which ignited a passion for working with Latinos and ethnically diverse populations.
Liliana lived in Spain for six months while working on her Bachelor's degree, has traveled to different countries and has been exposed to multiple cultures. These experiences have helped Liliana to have a multicultural perspective which she applies in her personal and professional life.
Liliana enjoys Seattle's diverse opportunities when not working -- music, movies, yoga, and social activities. In addition to these, Liliana takes full advantage of Washington's beautiful outdoors where she enjoys day trips, camping, hiking, floating, and river rafting.
