Megan Martinez started as a Child and Family Therapist at Sea Mar’s Bellevue Child and Family Behavioral Health Clinic in March of 2024. Megan is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA) and received her Masters of Art in Psychology from Seattle University in Seattle in 2014.
Megan has spent the last 15 years working with youth in schools, community programs and athletics with a focus on equity and advocacy for children and family systems. In addition to her community-based work, Megan is a certified Pilates instructor and has been practicing for the last 10 years, utilizing a combination of movement and mindfulness techniques to empower people of all ages through personal growth and self-exploration. She is passionate about helping people understand the strong connection of an attuned mind and body and how it relates to mental health. Along with her movement focused approach, Megan engages in a wide range of therapeutic interventions from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, play-based therapies, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to support diverse family systems and beliefs, as she aims to provide equitable care to all children and families.
Megan is a big soccer fan who loves coaching, cheeseburgers, and enjoys working closely with community advocates on bringing equity and positive change to her communities.
