
Nikhila began working at Sea Mar Behavioral Health Monroe as a Child and Family Therapist in July 2024.
She earned her B.A in Sociology, and Public
Administration from Osmania University, her Master’s in Social Work (Medical and Psychiatric Social Work) from Karve Institute of Social Work in India,
and her Masters of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwest University in Washington.
In her role, Nikhila works closely with children, adolescents, and their families, supporting them through emotional, behavioral, and relational
challenges. She has a special interest in trauma-informed care and has experience working with survivors of domestic violence and individuals involved in
batterer’s intervention programs.
Nikhila uses a strengths-based and culturally responsive approach, incorporating evidence-based practices to help
families heal, connect, and thrive. She strives to create a safe and supportive space where children and families feel heard, empowered, and equipped to navigate challenges.
Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, spending time outdoors, listening to music, hiking, and being with family and friends.
