Nova obtained her Bachelor of Science in child psychology with a minor in early learning education from Eastern Washington University in 2017 and began working with children in a school-based setting as well as at a local homeless shelter. During this time, she led group therapy sessions on Emotion Coaching by Jon and Judy Gottman and self-esteem building for teens along with individual therapy. She graduated with a master’s in psychology in 2022 while working for the Behavioral Health organization as both a WISE and FACT therapist. She began working at Sea Mar as a youth and family therapist in 2023.
Nova has served diverse populations and values her ability to make a difference with the lives of the families she works with. She has extensive experience working with those living with HIV, the homeless population, ADHD, PTSD, and wrap around services for both youth and adults.
