Rebecca Barber joined the Yelm Sea Mar team in October 2022 after completing her Masters program at Capella University and Internship at Next Level Therapy, NW in Federal Way. Rebecca obtained her Bachelors in Psychology from Indiana State University in 2019 while also working in Special Education and training in behavior modification.
Rebecca takes pride in assisting her clients in looking deeper at their thoughts and behaviors to discover the roots of what is troubling them and begin changing their thoughts and behavior patterns to promote overall wellness. Rebecca uses primarily Cognitive and Rational-Emotive Behavioral Therapies as well as aspects of Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment therapy.
