Robyn Wilds started working at Sea Mar's Renacer adolescent facility in Seattle in August, 2017. She transferred to Sea Mar's Adult Inpatient Treatment Center in Tacoma in December, 2017.
Prior to starting her career at Sea Mar, Robyn worked as a treatment counselor for the smoking cessation organization, Free and Clear (now part of Alere Health) where she counseled participants and created personalized treatment plans for them in their desire to stop smoking.
Robyn has spent over 20 years working in the healthcare field, taking care of both people and animals. She has worked at assisted living facilities, hospice centers, private residences and veterinary clinics.
Robyn has enjoyed drawing and creating things since childhood, and enjoys showing others how to express themselves through artistic means.
She believes that everybody has an inner artist inside of them and that once we give ourselves permission to push past our self-imposed limitations, we will amaze ourselves at what we are able to accomplish. Robyn feels that artistic expression is a wonderful coping skill that also leads to greater self-confidence, which is crucial in supporting a successful recovery.
In her spare time, Robyn enjoys drawing, painting and taking road trips to the beach. She lives in West Seattle with her four cats and two guinea pigs.
