Dr. Gilsun Yu began working for Sea Mar Community Health Centers in 2006.
Dr. Yu attended Columbia College in Missouri where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1998. Prior to attending dentistry school, Dr. Yu completed three years of military service in Korea before returning to the U.S. to continue his studies.
Dr. Yu attended Marquette University School of Dentistry in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and dental license in 2004.
Dr. Yu has a strong interest in serving adults in under-served communities.
He provides adult care at Tacoma Dental Clinic and has a strong interest in root canal treatment. Dr. Yu is a member of the American Dental Association and is ABCD board-certified.
When Dr. Yu is not providing dental care to patients, he enjoys working out, reading, traveling, and collecting coins.
