Dr. Candace Markley joined Sea Mar CHC Vancouver Medical Clinic in November of 2020
She received her medical and public health degrees from the Emory University School of Medicine and School of Public Health in Atlanta, GA. She then completed her family medicine residency at the Contra Costa Family Medicine Residency in Martinez, CA.
Dr. Markley enjoys taking care of whole families. For the first two years of practice with Sea Mar she performed Obstetrics, helping deliver babies at Legacy Hospital in Salmon Creek. Now she focuses on care of the patients in the clinic. She has additional interests in the health needs of individuals who are nonbinary, transgender and gender expansive, and she believes firmly in making primary care welcoming and accessible to all individuals. She speaks Spanish and is grateful this skill helps her better connect with more of her patients.
Dr. Markley very much enjoys living in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. When she is not in the clinic caring for patients, she enjoys spending time with family, going on hikes, and watching sports.
