Cori Sutton, ARNP, DNP began practicing at Sea Mar's Kent Medical Clinic in 2022. Before joining the team at Sea Mar Kent, Cori completed the Sea Mar Nurse Practitioner Residency Program in Seattle, WA. Prior to completing her Doctorate in Nursing with a focus in family medicine, Cori worked as a nurse in low income public housing from 2018-2021. She completed her undergraduate work in Medical Anthropology, Global Health and a minor in Gender, Women and Sexuality Studies from the University of Washington in 2013 and has worked in the primary care setting since 2014.

Cori is committed to working with underserved populations. In addition to working with patients across the lifespan in Kent, Cori works at a School-based health center with predominantly low-income youth. Since 2018, Cori has participated in a book club that centers the experiences of queer, black, indigenous, disabled and other marginalized voices. Cori participates in advocacy work for reproductive health care access through various volunteer organizations.

Cori was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest and enjoys hiking, biking, riding horses and walking her poodle, Kilgore, among other outdoor activities that this area provides. She also enjoys spending time with her family and community.
