Dr. Kowals is a board-certified general pediatrician and has been in practice since 2001. Dr. Kowals began working with Sea Mar Yelm Medical Clinic in January 2017. Prior to joining Sea Mar he worked as a pediatrician for Valley View Health Medical Center in Centralia, WA.

Dr. Kowals Graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in 1996. He did his residency of Family Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of Michigan Health System and UPMC Childrens Hospital of Pittsburgh.

Dr. Kowals believes in being an advocate for the vulnerable pediatric population we serve. Dr. Kowals plans on continuing to work in this field throughout his career.
