Dr. Diane Kaplan has been working for Mount Vernon Medical Clinic since 1995.
Prior to joining Sea Mar, she worked for 5 years at the Terry Reilly Community Health Clinic in Nampa, Idaho.
Originally from Boston, Massachusetts, Dr. Kaplan obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from the University of Montana. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Washington in 1986. In 1989, she completed her family medicine residency and an adolescent medicine fellowship at the University of Rochester in New York, and served an additional year as chief resident.
Dr. Kaplan has worked for many years with community advisory boards for local middle and high schools to help improve the quality of education in Skagit County. While not at work, Dr. Kaplan enjoys reading, gardening, walking, and spending time with her family and friends.
