Dr. Evan Teplow grew up in Massachusetts and was Peace Corps Volunteer in Guatemala, Central America before starting Medical School. He first came to Seattle in 1992 to do his internship and residency training and worked at Sea Mar Seattle for those years. He returned to Sea Mar in 2017 after working for 20-years as a clinician and faculty member at Lawrence Family Medicine Residency in Massachusetts, which is also a Community Health Center, focused on caring for the Hispanic Populations.
He studied Spanish at Middlebury College in Vermont, where he became fluent speaking Spanish and travelled extensively throughout Spain. He has also travelled and volunteered delivering Medical Care in Honduras, and in Haiti in 2010 after the earthquake.
Dr. Teplow is passionate about caring for the underserved, and delivering Health Care to the Spanish-speaking Communities. Clinically, he enjoys sports medicine, urgent care, procedures in primary care, and teaching family medicine residents and medical students.
Outside of work, Dr. Teplow enjoys spending time with his family, the great outdoors, rowing, swimming, hiking, biking, skiing, travelling, and pottery.
