Dr. De la cruz began practicing nephrology at Sea Mar's White Center Specialty clinic in August of 2020. Dr. De la cruz was born and raised in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic where she obtained the degree of MD with honors.
Dr. De la cruz moved to the United States to continue her studies. She completed an internal medicine residency in Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, FL. She then moved to the pacific northwest where she did her nephrology fellowship in the University of Washington.
Dr. De la cruz has worked with underserved populations throughout her training and continues to enjoy working with such population and to advocate for social justice.
The scope of Dr. De la cruz practice focuses on outpatient nephrology, including but not limited to: chronic kidney disease, acute kidney illnesses, hypertension, kidney stones, electrolyte imbalences and acid base disorders.
Dr. De la cruz is an avid reader and enjoys board games, video games, walks with loved ones, Champion's League soccer and playing with her dog.
