Dr. Jai Jun Byeon joined Sea Mar Community Health Centers in 2012.
Dr. Byeon earned his medical degree from Seoul National University in Korea in 1985. He practiced family medicine in Korea until he came to America in 2000. After he completed his family medicine residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, in 2005, he completed a one-year fellowship training in palliative care at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada.
Dr. Byeon is committed to providing quality medical services to medically underserved populations, and he firmly believes in the community health care model of delivery. He has been volunteering at a free medical clinic twice a month since 2008.
Dr. Byeon enjoys do-it-yourself home improvement, and plays golf in his spare time.
