Education: Medical Doctor
Jeffrey T. HansPetersen has been practicing medicine on Vashon Island since 2010, and joined Sea Mar in November 2020. Dr. HansPetersen values careful listening in his approach to patient care. When working with patients, he aims to help make confusing information more understandable and find ways for overwhelming situations to feel more manageable. As a member of Vashon’s community, Dr. HansPetersen enjoys his opportunities to work with patients of all ages and such diverse interests and life experiences
Dr. HansPetersen’s education and training provided opportunities to live in California, Chicago, New Hampshire and Florida. Although he now lives on Maury Island, Vashon Island still holds a special place in his heart.
On his time off Dr. HansPetersen enjoys skiing with his family, plucking on a banjo, and sketching pictures of tangled tree roots. He is learning to sail his family’s boat and build his first treehouse.
