​Dr. Kyung Kim joined Sea Mar Community Health at Des Moines in 2016 after spending some time in Chicago, IL at Erie Family Health Center. She completed her undergraduate and graduate studies at Hunter College of New York in New York City with a degree in Biology. Her medical degree is from Western University of Health Sciences of Osteopathic Medicine in Pomona, California. She completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency training in Memphis at University of Tennessee Health Sciences.

Dr. Kim is devoted to ensuring all the Sea Mar patient receive quality health care with her. She is also interested in patient education to encourage patient participation with their own health.

Dr. Kim is an avid fan of music and crossfit. She attends live music shows frequently and is an active member at her local crossfit gym.
