Meaghan Mugleston graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in the science of nursing from the University of Washington in 2008. She served as an Army Nurse both domestically and abroad from 2008 to 2016. Her military service included a combat deployment to Afghanistan, where she earned a Bronze Star Medal.
Meaghan graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio with her masters in nursing in 2015, and has been a board certified family nurse practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners since that time.
As a family nurse practitioner, Meaghan has worked in diverse settings, including a mobile clinic for school district employees and their families in Texas, at a community health clinic in Seattle, and at a community day center specifically designed to treat substance use disorders. Meaghan has a passion for community health, with strong interests in chronic disease management, preventative health care, and substance use disorders.
Meaghan enjoys outdoor activities including running, hiking, and kayaking, as well as spending time with her family.
