Dr. Berberian began working at Sea Mar's Burien Medical Clinic in 2016. Before practicing at Sea Mar, Dr. Berberian completed his undergraduate work in neurobiology, graduating with College Honors from the University of Washington. He then earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine.
Dr. Berberian loves working at Sea Mar because of its mission to provide healthcare to anyone regardless of their financial situation or ability to navigate a difficult system, and he loves working alongside staff and colleauges who share these values - some of whom grew up getting their care from community health centers like ours.
Dr. Berberian was part of the Charles Drew Medical Education Program at UCLA which brings together and trains medical students committed to careers serving patients in urban communities. His clinical rotations in the safety net hospitals and clinics of Los Angeles and later in Seattle, Rio de Janeiro, Dakar and Maputo showed him firsthand the privilege of advocating for the hardest working families in our communities and cemented his plans to keep pursuing the chance to work in urban underserved Family Medicine.
Dr. Berberian's particular interest in prenatal care and obstetrics within Family Medicine led him to complete fellowship training in high risk and operative obstetrics and he enjoys delivering babies at Swedish First Hill, one of the busiest labor and delivery units in the country!
Outside of work, Dr. Berberian spends most of his time with family, sharing with them his passion for making pastries, running and playing with their pets.
