In 1998, Dr. Stephen Drasnin began practicing medicine at Sea Mar Community Health Centers Olympia Medical Clinic. He transferred recently to Sea Mar Lacey medical clinic when it opened in May 2010.

In 1985, Dr. Drasnin earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Universidad Tecnológica de Santiago, Dominican Republic. He completed his family medicine residency at Monsour Medical Center in 1991, and he is board-certified through the American Board of Family Medicine.

Dr. Drasnin believes in preventative medicine and regular check-ups. He is our acute-care provider and sees the importance of this every day. Dr. Drasnin believes strongly in the mission of community health centers and appreciates Sea Mar's policy of providing service to everyone, regardless of ability to pay.

In his leisure time, Dr. Drasnin enjoys playing internet chess.
