Our Commitment
Since 1998, Sea Mar has been committed to help students who face economic barriers by providing scholarships in order for them to go to college, accomplish their goals, and succeed in life.

Sea Mar Farmworker High School & College Scholarships
Sea Mar recognizes and acknowledges the barriers children of farm working families face in their pursuit of a college degree. Economic strains, as well as the language and cultural barriers can often affect these students. Sometimes students need to work after-school and all summer to assist their family. Sea Mar is proud to provide annual scholarships to help make college a reality.
Latino/a Educational Achievement Project Scholarship
The Latino/a Educational Achievement Project Scholarship provides financial support for students who demonstrate a history of advocacy, responsibility, accountability, and perseverance; are go-getters, and have shown or have the strong potential to be contributors to their community.
Sea Mar-Foster High School Latino Scholarship
Foster High School in the Tukwila School District, one of the most culturally and linguistically diverse districts in Washington state, has partnered with Sea Mar to offer the Foster Scholarship for Latino High School Leaders, a scholarship to promote Latino academic achievement, to actively work against barriers that hinder academic opportunities, and to increase diversity in the professional work force.
Sea Mar Family Scholarship
Sea Mar is proud to offer post-secondary scholarship to the children of its employees. Sea Mar recognizes their parent(s) or legal guardian(s) are the backbone of the services Sea Mar provides to the community, sometimes even using family time to support Sea Mar's efforts.
Scholarship recipients receive a one-time award of $1,000 to be used towards their undergraduate or graduate degrees.
Sea Mar Dedicated Employees Scholarship
Sea Mar understands that today, even with stable employment, the cost to pursue an education is still out of reach for many. As the backbone of the services Sea Mar provides to the community, Sea Mar is proud to support it's staff in their pursuit of their educational goals by offering a one-time award of $1,000 to be used towards their undergraduate or graduate degrees.
Morales Memorial Scholarship for High School Seniors
Grandview’s Morales family created the Morales Memorial Scholarship (MMS) to honor their parents, Teodoro and Francisca Morales, and sister, Micaela Morales Herrera - three courageous individuals who were committed advocates for the education of children. Our goal is to help Grandview High School (GHS) graduates from farmworking backgrounds reach their educational dreams.
